This 900-seat theater, located near Downtown Orlando, is nicknamed the "rocking chair theater" by locals. It recently underwent refurbishments to become the home for off-Broadway musicals and shows. It is known for its 1960s "space age design" exterior.
The theater is located near several popular neighborhoods in downtown Orlando, Baldwin Park and Colonialtown. It is also located within walking distance of a large shopping center development. Consequently, the evening's performance can be combined with a meal at one of downtown Orlando's many restaurants -- or a visit to Babies R Us.
